Dr. Megan Mullin Physical Therapy is a small locally-owned business in Woodstock, NY. We are a compassionate group of highly skilled practitioners with a mission to provide quality care to our community and allow patients to have a full hour with their doctor of physical therapy.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. As a Physical Therapist at Dr. Megan Mullin Physical Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, promoting optimal recovery and functional outcomes for our patients.

 
We are located inside 28 West Gym in Woodstock, NY where we have two beautifully designed private offices that allow for a more intimate healing setting for patients. We also have access to all of 28 West Gym’s space and equipment to utilize during sessions.

Patient Care:

Patient population consists of mostly orthopedic injuries, as well as younger athletes, and medicare population (50/50).

  • Treat patients one-on-one for 45 mins or 1 hour, whatever your patient needs.
  • Welcome to incorporate aquatic therapy, boxing, yoga, energy work, or other activities into your treatment plans.
  • Easy documentation and scheduling using WebPT & Intake Q
  • Access to a brand new state-of-the-art gym and studio with over 15K members that are waiting for your services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ musculoskeletal and neuromuscular function.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to address patients’ specific needs.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs to enhance self-management and long-term success.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physicians, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  2. Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  3. Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2-5 years experience working as a Physical Therapist.
  2. Specialized training or certifications in areas such as orthopedics, sports, or neurology.

Compensation:

Job Type: Salary

Pay Range: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
